About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. We are looking to recruit a Coordinator to join our Utilities Team in Aylesbury.
As a Utilities Coordinator you will support the design interface between EKFB and HS2 and ensure Statutory Undertakers to be delivered in a timely manner in accordance with stakeholder’s requirements. This will require you to Interface with the areas Utilities Construction teams, Design Managers, Coordinators, Temporary Works, Consents Managers and other interested parties within EKFB. Ensuring designs are in accordance with the project’s requirements, including integrating the reasonable requirements.
A key part of this role includes providing support to the EKFB Design and Engineering Manager and the Designer, to follow and implement the assurance regime in accordance with the engineering and assurance plan. You will need to identify early warnings to mitigate risks, issues and enable the realization of opportunities. Manage change control, internal approvals through established processes whilst monitoring and participating in the design review process.
You will provide guidance on the alignment of assurance deliverables with the Client’s requirements, to support the delivery of the Design in accordance with the Programme and work collaboratively with the delivery team to ensure readiness for the Completions Process.

About The Candidate

- Degree level Qualification in either Project Management, commercial Management, Civil Engineering or the equivalent experience.

- SMSTS and must be independent of construction teams, EUSR Service Avoidance, category 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2 in Utility Avoidance and Buried Services

- EUSR Category 2 or NRSWA Location and Avoidance of Underground Services (five-day course including modules: S2, S3, S4, S5 & S7).

- Knowledge of the HS2 Act, Assurance & PPA’s, Utility Regulations to inform design, construction and connection works with statutory undertakers.

- Knowledge of the CDM Principal Designer role.

- Excellent communication skills

- Mandatory Full UK driving License is required
