About the role
The Winter Maintenance Class 2 Driver is essential for keeping roadways safe and accessible during winter. This role involves operating snowplows and other equipment to clear roads, highways, and public areas of snow and ice, ensuring safe transportation. You'll work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, with call out hours based on weather demands.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Certification in Snow and Ice Control Operations is advantageous.
- Winter Maintenance Certification.
- Experience in Operating Heavy Machinery or Snow Removal Equipment.
- Familiarity with Local Geography and Road Systems
