We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Asset Surveyor in the Asset & Regeneration Team. This post will be based at our Stanley or Gosforth offices and is a permanent full time position.
About the role
The right candidate will have experience of undertaking stock condition surveys, HHSRS assessments as well as being able to demonstrate strong knowledge relating to building pathology.
You will also need to have an understanding of the various regulatory standards relating to property condition in social housing.
About you
We seek an enthusiastic and personable individual with knowledge and experience of the challenges faced in the housing sector. The role covers a wide range of disciplines ranging from stock condition, decent homes, and energy performance. Daily duties would include site visits, report writing, data collection and problem solving.
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, capable of working to a high standard, on their own and within a team, promoting the Karbon values and brand and ensuring that targets and KPI’s are achieved. You will have good time management with a great attention to detail, be able to work unsupervised, encouraging collaboration across Karbon Homes and have a clear strategic focus on ensuring homes meet current and future standard.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

- Asset Surveyor – permanent role
- Salary is £41,013 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,260 per annum
- Location: Flexible base can be Stanley or Gosforth
- Regular travel will be required
- 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
