TEACHING ASSISTANTS LEVEL 1
PERMANENT POSTSStarting: 6th January 2025Nether Hall School is a very effective, well-resourced special school for pupils aged 4-19 years who have severe & profound learning difficulties.
The school is seeking to appoint Level 1 Teaching Assistants working 32½ hours per week for 39 weeks (school term time + 5 training days).
Salary: LG Band 3, Points 5 - 6, £23,500 - £23,893 pro-rata.
Actual starting salary, point 5:
Less than 5 yrs service with the Local Authority £17,814; (Plus SEN allowance of £1177)
The successful candidate will have good basic education including GCSE or equivalent in English as detailed in the job specification.
Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
