Summary

Are you looking to take your first step on your journey into Finance? If so this role is the perfect opportunity for you to start your financial career journey. We are looking for someone with good Microsoft Excel skills. You need to be organised, have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage your own workload whilst working to set deadlines.

About you…..
To be successful in the role you will need to have:
• Maths & English to GSCE level or equivalent
• Good working knowledge in use of computerised systems, including email, word and excel
• Experience of providing administrative support in a busy, customer focused office environment and be able to write clearly and accurately
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work tasks

About the role…..
Supporting the Deputy Head of Finance and Accountants you will play a pivotal role in providing an efficient and effective accounting service to the Council, assisting in the delivery of financial reports and other related finance projects.

The Finance Administration Assistant Interviews will be held week commencing 18 November 2024. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
