Summary
We’re looking for a highly experienced Chef to join our dynamic team at The Ritz Showbar & Restaurant, a new restaurant, showbar, and function suite in Hull, specializing in lobster and seafood dishes. If you have a passion for fresh seafood, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and love creating unforgettable dining experiences, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook exquisite seafood dishes, with a special focus on lobster and other fresh catches.
• Serve food directly to guests in an engaging, customer-friendly manner.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained.
• Assist with menu development and daily specials, focusing on innovative and delicious seafood recipes.
• Handle seafood and ingredients with expert care, ensuring freshness and quality control.
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless dining experience.
• Help manage inventory and stock, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef, with a focus on seafood cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of lobster preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to cook and serve dishes directly to customers, providing a personable dining experience.
• Passion for sustainable seafood and attention to detail in every dish.
• A team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and during events.
