Summary


We are looking to appoint a dynamic Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with an interest in gynae-oncology to complement our existing team. We have a busy outpatient gynaecology service offering the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic outpatient gynaecological services. This is a replacement post due to retirement to support our gynae-oncology lead consultant. In addition to the lead gynae-oncology consultant, the team includes two clinical nurse specialists in gynae-oncology, and a dedicated administrative co-ordinator. The successful candidate will be expected to support the local MDT, alongside our lead gynae-oncologist, gynaecology radiologist, histopathologist and MDT co-ordinator and be actively involved in the regional MDT. Kingston Hospital has an enthusiastic Trust Research lead and team that actively supports CRN projects, Principal investigators and recruitment into multicentre trials.

This post includes gynaecology clinic, gynaecology operating, colposcopy and acute gynaecology cover. The post holder will also contribute to thewell-established and busy Obstetric service withday-time labour ward cover and caesarean section lists. They will participate in the out of hours on call cover for both obstetrics and gynaecology.



All applicants should be fully registered with the General Medical Council, hold a Licence to Practice and be on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at the date of interview.
