Responsible to: Practice Manager
Hours: Up to full time 37 hours per week
Pay: Competitive
Holiday: 20 days annual leave (pro rata) rising per completed year to a maximum of 25 days

Job summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong medical administrator to join the Windrush Medical Practice team as a GP Assistant in a small multiskilled team. The GP Assistant team work closely with the GPs helping patients navigate the pathway through NHS services.
Main duties of the job
The role of GP Assistant will be to support the GP and wider clinical teams to ensure the smooth running of clinics by performing the complex administration tasks and patient liaison required for ongoing and exemplary patient care. GPAs work closely with a multidisciplinary team in coordinating all key activities including access to services, advice, and information. Ensuring heath and care planning is timely, efficient, and patient-centred.
