PERMANENT ROLE
Our client in Peterborough is recruiting for a TIG Welder Fabricator on a permanent basis. The client manufactures components for simulators used within the Formula One and Go Karting industries.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled TIG Welder Fabricator able to take a job from start to finish and work with materials including stainless steel and aluminium from 1.5mm - 10mm gauges.
Job Description: TIG Welder Fabricator
TIG welding stainless steel and aluminium
Manufacturing components for simulators
Using fabrication machinery to press and bend metal
Welding and fabricating 1mm - 3mm gauges (with the occasional 10mm weld)
Working from engineering drawings
All workshop based - no site work required
Experience / Qualifications required:
Skilled TIG Welder
MIG welding experience would be beneficial
Ideally be skilled operating press brake machines
Able to read and work from drawings
Confident working with stainless steel and aluminium
Competent working with sheet metal

Monday - Friday days - 45 hour week
Paying up to £19ph / £44,460 per annum
28 days annual leave
