Escape Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturing client in Fife to recruit skilled Hydraulic/Mechanical Technicians for permanent workshop-based roles.
What You Bring:
- A minimum SVQ Level 3 engineering qualification and time-served experience
- Trade papers ready at the time of application
Job Purpose:
- Install, service, and maintain hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Use precision measuring and recording equipment
- Work with high-pressure and pressure-generating equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and control valves
- Maintain detailed service reports, risk assessments, and complete paperwork to high standards
- Provide support across other trades and disciplines as needed
