Summary
Registered Care Home Manager
Location: North London (N20)
Salary: up to £55,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday - Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, 45 hours per week)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for the role of Registered Care Home Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a 56-bed residential care home in North London, specialising in elderly and dementia care. The client is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to ensure the home runs smoothly and continues to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care staff and ensure service users receive safe, effective, and high-quality care.
- Protect service users from avoidable harm and manage risks.
- Manage the medication process and ensure accurate administration and recording.
- Engage service users in decision-making about their care, ensuring their dignity and privacy.
- Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring of new staff members.
- Organise healthcare services, social activities, and ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Monitor and improve service quality and maintain compliance with CQC standards.
Requirements:
- RMA / NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, completed, or enrolled.
- Proven experience as a care home manager or deputy manager.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-working skills.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and elderly/dementia care.
