Summary
CAMHS SPA Family Support Worker The CAMHS SPA Family Support Worker will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary SPA Team, offering screening, triage, psychoeducation, harm reduction advice under supervision and containment to children, young people, their family/carers, and other professionals presenting with emotional and mental health difficulties. You will be experienced in identifying emotional and mental health presentations and have an extensive knowledge around CAMHS provisions, as well as external services, to ensure that the CYP accesses the right pathway, at the right time. You will work with a variety of agencies including social care, other health agencies, education/schools, acute hospitals, and adult mental health services to ensure a quality service is provided. You must hold a relevant qualification or have significant CAMHS experience. You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. The role is highly rewarding, but fast paced with many referrals received into the team daily. The job can be demanding so you will be required to be motivated, resilient, and work flexibly to meet service need. Service opening hours are between 8am 6pm on a rota pattern and on occasion you will be expected to work outside of these hours should need dictate.
