Summary
UCLH are looking to recruit an enthusiastic project specialist with an interest in digital healthcare to support the Trust in implementing an Epic Connect programme at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH). This role is available as a fixed term contract until January 2026 and we would be happy to support secondment agreements for NHS candidates.
This is an exciting time to join our organisation on a high-profile project with a team passionate about patient care and digital healthcare.
Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager the post holder will be a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys working collaboratively in a hand-on and ambitious environment.
UCLH is supportive of flexible working arrangements and would be very open to discussing this with candidates as part of the process. This role is likely to suit someone looking for a hybrid opportunity, with travel required to RNOH at Stanmore and UCLH on Euston Road.
The key results areas for this post are;
- Provide overall project support to the smooth and successful running of the Epic Connect Project and its programme of work
- To support a number of projects related to Epic Connect, seeing these through the project lifecycle, i.e. project initiation, delivery, mobilisation and review
- Successful delivery of work and implementation of allocated projects and tasks on time
- To act as an effective administrator, taking accurate minutes and capturing relevant actions at relevant meetings related to Epic Connect.
- Support the management of the programme risk and issue logs, clearly communicating escalations to senior members of the team as required, including the Senior Programme Manager and Medical Director for Digital Healthcare Technology.
- Uses a range of IT applications to create reports and maintain project information. This may include excel and ClickUp as directed by the Senior Programme Manager
The post holder does not require experience with Epic or an Electronic Health Record (EHR) but should have an interest in Digital Healthcare and be willing to learn more to enable them to fully support this fast paced programme. We can upskill you in the area of Digital knowledge, but good organisational skills and previous project experience will be essential.
