An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to support the Allied Health Professionals (Dieticians, Speech and Language, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) acute patient services, at the Royal Oldham Hospital.

This is a friendly and active environment, where you will work alongside the existing administrative team to support the range of acute services, that the department hosts. There is a proactive and innovative approach to continuous professional development, evidence-based practice, and service development, which the administrative team are an essential part of. Remote working is not routinely available due to the services being site-based.
• Provide an efficient and effective range of clerical and administrative services to support the activities of the AHP department.
• Support the clerical staff in the acute setting, booking and scheduling appointments, using a range of communication skills.
• Work flexibly with the admin team to cover all aspects of the AHP admin service.
• Contribute to team meetings providing feedback, to support service development.

The Administrative Team ensures the provision of a range of secretarial, patient related administrative, and non-patient related clerical services to the department of Allied Health professionals. Whilst reporting to the Admin Team leader, you will be expected to work independently on set tasks and be responsible for meeting and agreeing targets and workloads. You will be required to work closely with the other members of the Team, providing cover when necessary, during periods of annual leave and other absences.

You will be working in a highly confidential environment, and it is, therefore, important that you understand the need for accuracy and the considerable responsibility held whilst working in this role.
