Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our caring team at Dovecote Lodge, Ossett, Flanshaw Lodge, Wakefield, or Hazel Garth, Knottingley.
As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our residents by ensuring that all linens, clothing, and personal items are laundered and presented with the highest standards of quality.
What you might be doing:
Perform routine laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing of linens, clothing, and personal items.
Inspect all laundered items for cleanliness and quality, making necessary repairs or replacements as needed.
Operate and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Interact with residents in a courteous and respectful manner, addressing any special requests or concerns regarding laundry services.
Essential requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members in a fast-paced environment.
