Your Role

Stockport Council are recruiting a Mechanical Project Engineer to work within the Estate and Asset Management Team.

We have a large programme of capital developments across the borough covering our Education, Leisure, Corporate and Commercial portfolio.

As an Mechanical Project Engineer, you will lead the engineering aspects of project delivery. You will work alongside an internal team of Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors and Project Managers, as well as leading externally commissioned consultant teams.

About You

You will have a technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering as well as procurement, assisting with cost planning and construction contract management, and delivery of commercially viable schemes. You will have strong partnership skills and be able to develop strong relationships in order to ensure timely project delivery.
