Summary
Responsibilities - Work closely with the relevant R&D teams to ensure clinical research activity within UHS is initiated efficiently.- Ensure workload is carried out in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the UK Policy for Health and Social Care Research and current legislation.- Manage a portfolio of studies at various stages in the approval pipeline, requiring the ability to prioritise and adjust plans according to Divisional and Trust requirements/strategy.- Assist R&D teams with study set-up to ensure accuracy and timeliness and provide the correct level of assistance to achieve this aim, which may vary from team to team. Experiences / Skills - Healthcare background- Advanced understanding of Microsoft applications for managing and analysing information, e.g. Word and Excel- Relevant experience in conducting or organising clinical research trials- Awareness of current legislation regarding research governance issues- Motivation for research- Attention to detail- Good organisational skills- Able to work alone or as part of a team- Able to prioritise tasks
