Our friendly and experienced team is currently looking to recruita Driverto support ourclinical staff in ourGP out of hour’s service.
The post holder will work as part of an out of hours operational teamchauffeuring and supporting medical staff to undertake home visits in the effective and efficient delivery of a high quality out of hours service to NHS Berkshire West.
The post will include supporting medical staff to undertake some clinical tasks.

• Drive medical staffto home visits in a safe andtimelymanner
• Maintaineffective communication withdispatching staff
• Ensure all medical bags and equipment arestowedat the beginning of each duty session andassistmedical staff with locating bags andequipment
• Follow the service’soperational procedures for checking vehiclesbefore the beginning of eachduty session includingfuel, water, oil levels. Complete dataentries.Handover vehiclesto oncoming drivers with sufficientfueland in a clean and tidy condition internally
• Work as part of a teamsupporting andassistingqualified staffwith patient care within the Urgent Care setting

1. Valid manual driving licence
