Summary
As a Freelance Grant Writer, you will play a vital role in researching, writing, and securing funding opportunities that support our company’s mission and projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong writing skills, a knack for research, and a passion for impactful storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential grant opportunities aligned with the company’s projects and objectives.
- Write and develop high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents for submission.
- Maintain an organised database of funding sources, application deadlines, and submitted proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary project information, budgets, and other relevant details for grant applications.
- Ensure all submissions meet funder guidelines, priorities, and deadlines.
- Track and report on the status and outcomes of submitted grant proposals.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with funders through follow-up communications and updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Independent and self-motivated, with strong organisational skills.
- Proficient in research and analysis to identify grant opportunities.

- Previous experience with grant writing in the non-profit, sporting, or community sector.
