Randstad is working with exceptional schools across West Sussex and Surrey to recruit enthusiastic individuals ready to grow their skills and support student development. Our partner schools provide hands-on training and a welcoming team of experienced educators to help you succeed. In this term-time role, you'll support children aged 4-11, playing a key part in their social, emotional, and academic growth. Whether you have experience working with children or come from a caregiving background, this role could be your next career step. This is a long-term, full-time role with hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to learners
  • Serve as a positive role model in the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in organising resources and activities
  • Build strong, positive relationships with staff, students, and their families
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Bring enthusiasm and dedication to your role every day
What We're Looking For:
  • A genuine passion for working with children and inspiring a love of learning
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above
  • Experience working with children or in childcare
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Confidence and motivation to support individuals or small groups
  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship available)
