Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
The Federation of Riders Infants and Junior Schools is looking to recruit an Executive Headteacher for April 2025.
We want our new Executive Headteacher to further develop our inclusive culture so that children have opportunities to thrive and flourish in their personal, social and academic lives.
Our new Executive Headteacher needs to be an effective communicator and good listener, able to build mutually respectful relationships where people are valued, as they lead our Federation to continue the improvements that have happened over recent years.
We want a leader who builds collective ambition for every child, who unlocks opportunity so that children can experience achievement, regardless of barriers.
We want our new Executive Headteacher to stand together with our community; to be visible and approachable to parents, carers and the wider community and to develop positive and trusting relationships.
What the school offers its staff
We can offer you a school community that is vibrant, enthusiastic and engaged. Where children are appreciative of the opportunities they receive and where parents want only what is best for their children. Where building trusting relationships is paramount.
A staff team who care deeply for the children in their care and are committed to using all avenues available to them both internally and in the wider community to improve the outcomes of the children.
Also we offer a committed and supportive Governing Body and an established team of Senior Leaders who use evidence informed research to improve practice and drive progress for all in the school community.
Commitment to safeguarding
Safer Recruitment The Federation of Riders Infant and Junior Schools and Hampshire County Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
