Job Description
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of the organisation's database systems. They ensure the security, integrity, and availability of data in databases, and they work closely with other IT teams and departments to support their database needs.
Role and responsibilities
assists in database design and creation and amends existing databases
tests databases and writes user guides for their operation
administers, monitors and supports databases and website content
extracts data and assists others in the use of the database
writes and publishes content and monitors and maintains functionality of websites
trains colleagues in the use of the databases and websites
proof reads social media content and checks content of videos before publication on websites
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
No of hours per week: 37.50 (Fixed working hours)
