Part time Teaching Assistant (1-1 Support) (15 hours per week)

Job Type- Fixed Term Contract (July 2025), Part-time (Term time only)

Salary- Grade 4 point 5- £23,500 (pro-rata- actual salary £8,273)

Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant with a desire to make a difference?

Leasowes Primary School (recent Ofsted grading of “outstanding”) are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant who has previously worked with SEND pupils. An understanding of the curriculum across the age ranges in a primary school would be an advantage.

You will be responsible for supporting learning and progress, following guidance from staff. You will deliver focused provision to specifically meet the needs of the child and will work alongside existing staff.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to form positive relationships with our children and staff is essential.

Essential criteria:

• Previous experience of working with children with SEN advantageous
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A kind, caring and nurturing approach to the children
• A high standard of professional conduct
• The ability to work effectively under the guidance of the teacher
• The willingness to take part in all aspects of school life
