Summary
Barts Health NHS Foundation Trust is a forward thinking organisation that is continually looking at ways to improve the way information is used to ensure that we provide the best care to patients. The Site is looking to recruit a Clinical Information Analyst.
This is a role that will work with the Clinical Information Team and Site BI Team to be the lead clinical information analyst. The Cerner Electronic patient record has been developed over the past year to improve the capture of structured clinical data. The post holder will work with the team to develop reports to ensure that clinical information is been collected correctly and acted on appropriately. This will be linked to other clinical data to measure the impact on patient pathways. The aim will be reduce variation and inefficiencies in patient care, thus improving experience and outcomes.
If you are successful at gaining an interview you will be asked to a 30 minutes interview (approx.) and presentation.
Please note the interviews will likely take place on the 4th or 5th of December.
· The post holder will be working with the Clinical Information Officer to lead on the reporting and monitoring of various clinical related measures to improving patient care and their journey.
· The post holder will proactively work with the clinical teams to understand information requirements and deliver solutions.
· A key part of this role is the information support to the Vital Signs project, the post holder will work the project team to produce and manage a set of relevant KPI’s and reports for the project.
· The Post holder will support the project team to write and share results and outcomes of the project with a view of potentially publishing them as part of a growing research programme.
· The Principal Clinical Information Analyst is a key information role in relation to the provision of Business Intelligence and Information Management, ensuring that accurate and timely information, analysis and interpretation is available to support the successful running of the Site by supporting clinical care and performance management.
· The post holder will be expected to have a thorough understanding of national and local Performance Indicators and targets the Trust is required to adhere too.
· The role will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the site through achieving its clinical, operational, financial and strategic objectives.
