Summary

We are recruiting Production Operatives to join our client for an immediate start with the potential to earn very good wages!


Shift & Pay Details:

Monday to Friday - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - £12.32 per hour
Overtime: 2.30pm - 3.30pm x 1.5 hourly rate
Overtime 3.30pm - 4.30pm - x 2 hourly rate

Opportunities for overtime: on Saturdays (06.00am-1.00pm) x 1.5 hourly rate & 2 x hourly rate.

Starting pay at £12.32 to £14.62 per hour, with opportunities for progression based on skills.

The Role
Our client manufacturers high quality concrete products for the building industry and they operate several production lines with for different products. Some of the products have reinforced steel in them and these have be prepared before they reach the production line. You will need to have the ability to learn new tasks and operate different equipment adhering to safety rules and regulations to be successful. As the warehouse uses wet concrete it is not a clean environment. You will need to keep your working area clean using 5S principals. Help maintain factory machinery and vehicles. Assist with daily cleaning tasks whilst working safely, following all health and safety guidelines, including proper lifting, wearing PPE, and reporting any equipment defects. Maintain the high quality of products by regularly inspecting them.


The Ideal Candidate
Ideally you will come from a background such as construction, roofing, scaffolding, ground-works or building however other backgrounds will be considered. You will need excellent time keeping and attendance with a self-motivated team focus attitude. The ability to learn about all the machines in the different departments and able to communicate with. The site is tasked to fulfil orders on output so you will need to work as a team to achieve these targets so you will need to work well under pressure.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, sharing ideas on how to improve production processes. You will need basic numeracy and literacy skills. For the right candidate after training and good attendance the role could become permanent. You will need to be physically fit for this role.
