Summary
Purdy Contracts Ltd, part of Kinovo Plc, have an opportunity for an Operational Supervisor to join our growing team covering Norfolk and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site management and supervision of Retrofit/Multi Trade activities including resource/workload planning of directly employed operatives (DLO’s), and subcontractors of Multi Trades, ensuring high quality, timely and safe works order contract delivery and client/customer liaison and satisfaction.
You will ensure adherence to company process and administration systems, which includes maintaining documented records and reporting daily, weekly, monthly on performance related activities such as Health & Safety, inductions, method, risk & COSSH assessments, toolbox talks, quality audits/inspections.
Key responsibilities include:
• Basic commercial acumen and be able to work with a QS to determine monthly forecasts
• The ability to provide operational projections and timelines
• Multi trade knowledge to carry out site inspections and snagging of works
• Experience of managing/supervising a team of operatives
• Up to date knowledge of health and safety regulations
You will have:
• Have experience of working on planned maintenance and reactive emergency works (Local Authority/Social Housing sector including occupied homes and voids a distinct advantage.)
• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential as site inspections for bespoke quoting will need to be carried out.
• Job costings and forecast experience.
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferable
• Highly numerate and analytical.
• Accurate with excellent attention to detail and IT competent
