Summary
WHAT IS THE ROLE:
Data is at the heart of everything we do at Yours Clothing and with the number of brands continuing to grow, demand on the data team is increasing every day.
This role is responsible for maintaining databases and utilizing our ETL tool to pipeline data into our data warehouse while ensuring data security and cleanliness. It will also entail troubleshooting issues between systems to understand and solve data discrepancies, enabling the wider team to produce accurate reporting.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Review current ETL and data warehouse setup and work with the wider data team to make improvements, ensuring best practise is implemented
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for data sources and tables across the company.
Protect data by developing data security and restoration controls
Identify and implement database requirements for new or existing applications and partners by working collaboratively with other teams.
Support users and developers by resolving data-related technical issues and troubleshooting queries by guiding them with best practices.
Management of access to Google Analytics, Ads, GMC and SA360 to ensure security across the brands and territories.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
3+ years of experience in database administration or in a similar role.
Familiarity with SQL database querying and relational data models
Experience in database backup, disaster recovery planning, performance optimisation and data security.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide quick solutions to issues.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.
Understanding of cloud-based data warehouse tool Snowflake and data pipeline tool Rivery
Highly motivated and a desire to be the best

Proven ability to work well within a team and to use own initiative
Self-starter with the ability to find answers themselves
