Summary

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant with a passion for making a difference in the lives of elderly service users?

We are currently seeking a skilled professional with a minimum of 12 months' experience in the UK to join our team in providing outstanding care to elderly individuals, particularly those living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities


As a Health Care Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

Direct Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.

Emotional Support: Providing companionship and emotional support to residents, particularly those living with dementia.

Medication Administration: Assisting with the administration of medication as per the care plan and under supervision.

Monitoring Health: Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health or behavior to senior staff.

Engagement Activities: Organizing and participating in recreational activities that promote cognitive and physical engagement.

Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate records of care provided and any incidents or changes in health.


Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Minimum of 12 months' experience as a Health Care Assistant in the UK.

Experience working with elderly service users, particularly those with dementia.

A relevant health care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care) is preferred but not mandatory.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
