Summary
We will provide a training plan for the successful student to ensure a full and engaging experience. The post includes hands-on work experience, and 1 day per week study leave, which is currently a combination of self-directed learning and college time. The college enrolment will be for February 2025. You will study to achieve: - Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, a two-year training program with and End Point Assessment (EPA) process at the end stages of the course.Learners who achieve the Pearson Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians can apply for professional registration as pharmacy technicians, with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Entry requirements for this regionally funded post are as follows: GCSEs: Maths C, English and Science (at C or above) and 3 other subjects at a minimum of grade C . Or Pharmacy Services QCF Level 2 or equivalent with 12 months current experience and hold a functional skills level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Or Three A levels, one of which is a relevant science subject and Maths C (GCSE or equivalent). Or Degree in science or humanities and Maths C (GCSE or equivalent).
