Summary
To be part of a team delivering a high quality efficient and effective radiographic service, to make an informed decision on the diagnostic images required and demonstrate a professional, caring and responsible approach to patients. To take an active part in the teaching of dental radiography to all undergraduate dental students as this is a mandatory part of their BDS course. To also participate in the teaching of other disciplines in dental radiography. The post holder will be encouraged to take on additional responsibilities. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
