Summary
Operations Executives work behind the scenes to ensure all aspects of a tour come together (Hotels, Meals, Excursions and coach/bus/train/flight arrangements) in order to successfully run all travel related products.
Responsibilities for operations staff vary depending on the size of the organization and the customer base but will usually include sales development, logistical and financial management, and daily operational management.
Typical work activities
Selling travel products and tour packages
Sourcing products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism
Negotiating and working with suppliers, both on B2B and B2C levels
Sending Rooming and Seating lists accordingly
Managing, booking and cancelling services for all travel related products
Handling, booking and managing FIT Travel and maintaining records
Booking and Managing ground transportation and other modes
Working closely with other parts of the business to help answer customer queries
Making files for the Tour Managers and tours
Planning and curating the vehicles movement, passenger pickups and drops.
Co-ordinating with the coach companies and the drivers to ensure smooth transfers of the passengers.
Liaising with the Coach drivers for the passenger's pick ups.
Handling on tour emergency situations, (if any).
Ideal Candidate
Along with experience in the above, the ideal candidate should be a candid, hard-working and committed individual, who is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and services as and when the business requires.
The job role will involve heavy use of Microsoft Office Suite – and hence the candidate should have good knowledge and understanding of the various programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Peak Season Time: (Feb - Aug every year)
Monday to Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
Off-Peak Season Time: (Sep - Jan every year)
Monday to Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 4 pm
**Two Saturdays off every month during the Off-peak season period.
Weekend availability
You would be required to be available on call sometimes during the weekend.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Wembley, HA9 6LL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
