Summary

Are you a Teacher who focuses on relational practices to reinforce a positive learning environment for your students? Do you have a strong knowledge of Mathematics and Science concepts to deliver the curriculum confidently and creatively? Have you got the ability to inspire and motivate students who may be disengaged or lacking confidence in their abilities?

Our client, an alternative education provision, are looking for a Maths/ Science specialist (teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils) to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The school focus on the emotional and social needs of students and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour, focusing on building trust and respect within the learning environment to help students develop better social skills. The school's aim is to provide a safe learning environment, free of stigma and negativity.

The ideal candidate will need to :
- Relevant experience delivering Maths and Science across KS3 and KS4
- Have experience/ willing to teach in an SEMH setting
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post as directed by the Senior Leadership Team
- To provide a safe secure educational setting based on nurture principles
- To work within the wider service team to facilitate the provision of education to pupils
