Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive team as Treasury Accountant

Do you have experience working in a Finance role and have great attention to detail?


The Role

We have an exciting opportunity in our Finance Team for a Treasury Accountant.

You will support the Finance Manager and wider Finance Team to administer financial information (both manual and electronic), as well as producing, and analysing data from various financial systems.


As Treasury Accountant, some of your key duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Maintain and administer the cash management system and cash flow reports for the NCHA Group; taking a key role and liaising with directorates and cross directorate groups for treasury management purposes and making recommendations on corrective action resulting from cash flow reporting.
- Administer all processes in relation to the Association's treasury management processes including service treasury management and lender information requirements.
- Assist in the raising of new loan finance including securing valuation reports and in the securing and release of properties underpinning loan finance; liaising with the NCHA Group’s legal and professional advisors in arranging the securitisation of the Groups housing property assets as required.
- Assist in the development of treasury management strategy, policy and procedures and contribute to system and operational development including writing and revising procedure manuals.


Ideal Candidate

- High level of accounting knowledge as demonstrated by professional qualification or substantial work experience, preferably in housing sector
- Previous experience in a Finance related or Business role
- Experience using Microsoft spreadsheets, databases, computerised accounts packages
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and great team player


Working Hours

Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm 3 days per week minimum working from the office with 2 days per week working from home (once fully trained). Head Office is based in Clifton.
