Role Overview:
The purpose of the post is to act as first point of contact in the reception/ general office of the Register Office and to provide customer service to members of the public in their applications for certificates. Also to register births deaths and marriages and complete associated tasks. as and when required. You will be required to work weekends on a rota basis.
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
- Excellent customer care skills
- The ability to obtain and accurately record data on the national database whilst dealing empathetically with grieving and distressed clients
- Be able to work in a high-pressure environment where working as part of a team is important for the successful delivery of quality registration services.
- Be proficient with Microsoft data bases e.g. word, excel and be able to adapt to service specific software.
