Start Date: January 2025

Hours: 14 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term for 3 months

Salary: Grade 4 Points 18 to 22

£33,783 to £36,701 per annum pro rata

(subject to pending job evaluation)

This salary includes £2,500 Market Allowance, which is in place until the outcome of Job Evaluation is confirmed and then will be reviewed.

Would you like to be part of a highly motivated team of Work-Based Assessors working with organisations looking to upskill and reskill their workforce by undertaking Modern Apprenticeships and SVQs within the Children and Young People sector?

West Lothian College is pleased to announce that there is a vacancy in their dynamic, friendly and knowledgeable team of work based assessors within the Care, Health and Sport faculty.

You will be educated to SCQF Level 9 in the Children and Young People sector, and be assessor qualified. You will have a good understanding and previous experience within this sector. You will have good organisational skills to prioritise effectively and the ability to communicate at all levels in order to help others achieve and hold qualifications and experience which meet SSSC Management registration requirements. Working from home, you will have the advantage of being flexible in your daily working hours over the course of the week.

Those shortlisted will be required to deliver a presentation and undertake a competency based interview.
