Summary
Coremaker, Moulder
We have excellent opportunity to join a long-established foundry in Stockton on Tees.
To keep up with growing business demands, and assist in manufacturing of high integrity complex castings, including large diesel engine components, compressors and pumps, we are looking to increase our existing workforce with experienced coremakers / moulders to produce chemically bonded sand cores or moulds.
Job description:
• To hand ram, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface imperfections.
• Sift and pack sand into moulding / core boxes, and pattern contours.
• Position patterns inside mould sections, and clamp sections together, and weigh.
Environment:
• A dirty working environment which may be hot or cold weather dependant.
• Physically demanding.
• You will need to wear the appropriate PPE for this role.
