Summary
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee the management of residential properties, ensuring high standards of service for tenants and optimal return on investment for property owners. You will be responsible for tenant relations, property maintenance, and financial oversight while embodying Land Royale’s values of expertise and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee tenant screening, lease agreements, and renewals to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and the return of security deposits.
- Schedule and supervise regular property inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of services.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to maintain property standards and minimize repair costs.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, including tracking income and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Collect rent payments and monitor overdue accounts, taking appropriate action to recover arrears.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to advise property owners on rental strategies and investment improvements.
- Optimize property listings on various platforms to attract potential tenants and maximize occupancy rates.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure effective advertising and promotional strategies.
- Manage short-term letting arrangements, including guest check-in/check-out processes and housekeeping schedules.
- Ensure all properties comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and tenancy laws.
- Keep accurate records of tenant agreements, maintenance activities, and financial transactions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management or real estate, with a strong understanding of landlord and tenant laws.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Familiarity with property management software and digital platforms is a plus.
- Any degree
- A Level 3 Certification for Estate and Lettings Agent is highly desirable.
