We are looking for a Brand Manager to join our team, on a full-time, permanent basis, offering hybrid working, who shares our passion for the brands that we work with.

About the role- Brand Manager

The Brand Manager is responsible for building the brand and image of a select allocation of Hectic brands and their products, whilst driving sales across the UK and Europe. This is a role is a new role due to the onboarding of a new brand into the business and reports into the Director. You will manage the full brand management of this new brand as well as wholesale sales for another of our brands.

The main responsibilities for our Brand Manager role include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a strong working relationship with brand Head Quarters and collaborating with the Hectic team to deliver each brand’s global strategy at a pan-European level in order to position the brand for growth.
• Sales management, managing agents and key accounts.
• Monitoring the performance of each brand through key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on results to brand Head Quarters.
• Analysing brand competitors, consumer trends and shopping behaviours
• Heading up each brand’s content, such as press releases, artwork, print and digital media, working closely with the marketing team.
• Purchasing of required inventory from factory and managing inventory levels vs P&L needs.
• Achieving profit targets, timelines and budgets.
• Organising product launches, promotional events and trade shows.
• Assisting in the design of retail packaging and in the creation of in-store marketing displays, developing and improving brand message management for European markets in line with global brand guidelines.
• Working closely with the marketing team to ensure each brand’s marketing campaigns are delivered to their strategy
• Nurturing and growing the brand’s affiliations and partnerships
• Maintaining contact with vendors and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved
• Escalate issues with the relevant team member where needed.
• Additional tasks to help the wider team, for example, entering PO’s and wholesale orders on the system.

What we offer:

• A starting salary of £50,000
• A discretionary annual Company bonus
• 33 days holiday, including 8 bank holidays
• Shut down between Christmas and New Year (additional to holiday days)
• 36.25 hour working week- this is 9am-5pm as standard with a 45 minute lunch break, but there is flexibility when you need it
• Hybrid working- we are flexible with how this looks for you. Office / client premises/ event attendance is expected once every two weeks. Our offices are based in East Wittering and Bristol.

The ideal Brand Manager will have previous experience of working in wholesale apparel sales and have an interest in outdoors / lifestyle brands. Ideally you will have previous brand management experience too. You will be a self-starter, proactive and passionate about the brands that you work with. There would be a lot of travel in the UK and Europe for this role as you are building the brand.

Perhaps you might have experience as a Brand Manager, Sales Manager, Wholesale Manager, Brand Wholesale Manager, or Business Development Manager within fashion / apparel / lifestyle.
