Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Minute Taker Admin to join our court team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately documenting court proceedings, preparing detailed minutes, and providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording Proceedings: Accurately document discussions, decisions, and actions during court meetings and hearings, ensuring all key points, motions, and rulings are noted.
  • Preparing Minutes: Compile and prepare comprehensive minutes summarising the proceedings, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and complete.
  • Ensuring Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of the minutes, ensuring all necessary details are captured without omissions.
  • Distributing Minutes: Distribute finalised minutes to relevant parties, including judges, attorneys, and court officials, in a timely manner.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the court team, including organising meetings, managing schedules, and handling correspondence.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a legal or court environment.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a minute taker or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using word processing and other office software.
