BH1 project part of Boscombe Corps of the Salvation Army is recruiting for two cleaners. BH1 provides support to the local community, and we are looking for two reliable and motivated people with the ability to work on their own initiative to help clean the Drop-in centre. Ensuring that the centre is clean and always meets Health and Safety standards for the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake cleaning duties according to the Covid cleaning schedule ensuring that facilities, toilets and communal areas around the building are maintained to a high standard. Including the emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing rubbish.
Ensure Health and Safety and Environmental Health and Hygiene standards are maintained according to the Safe Working Practices, including wearing of any protective clothing.
Ensure supplies are replenished to ensure that the environment meets the required health and safety and hygiene standards.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Previous cleaning experience and use of cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements and procedures.
Ability to monitor stock of cleaning materials and recognise their usage so new stock can be ordered.
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision and on their own initiative.
Ability to be flexible with hours.
