Summary
We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team of Sports Academy Coaches.
The College prides itself in offering students the opportunity to follow one of the sports academy pathways, alongside their academic programme.
We are looking for a coach who can plan and deliver training sessions for the boys 2nd Football Team, as well as managing the team on match days.
Players receive weekly training on Tuesday mornings, playing in the AoC Yorkshire & Humberside leagues and North Yorkshire School’s competitions on Wednesday afternoons.
You will be expected to work such hours as may be needed to discharge the duties effectively, which includes attendance during term-time for:
• Fixtures or training sessions on a Wednesday afternoon.
• An additional 1.5 hour practice session on Tuesday morning 10.45-12.15
• Carrying out preparation, administration & meet with the Sports Coordinator where necessary.
This contract will be on a permanent basis for an average of 5 hours per week, starting as soon as the successful candidate is available, following safeguarding and recruitment checks.
The successful candidate will be appointed to scale point 10 of the College’s Support Staff pay spine, currently paid at £23,367 p.a. for full time. Actual salary will be pro-rata to the hours and weeks worked and includes a pro-rata payment for holidays
