Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable 3.5t Multi drop Delivery Driver to join our client in Edinburgh.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe and timely manner to various locations in Edinburgh area. You must be available to start ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Drive vehicles to designated destinations for deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Communicate with customers upon delivery
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition
- Adhere to safety standards and traffic laws
- Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
Requirements:
- One year at least experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid UK driving licence (No more than six penalty points)
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with local routes and areas
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to drive vans and perform heavy lifting
Hourly Wage: £16.58
