Summary
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a background in production level sewing and be extremely comfortable working with Woven and/or Jersey fabrics. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We work on a range of product types (e.g dresses, tops, shirts, blouses trousers, jackets, soft accessories) which offers the chance for continual skills development.
After some time working within our studio alongside our current team, work from home opportunities may be possible if the candidate has the space and set up required.
Responsibilities:
Production level sewing experience
Ability to maintain high quality finishes
Thorough understanding of garment construction
Excellent time management skills
Good communication skills
Experience with different industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, overlocker and coverstitch)
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Machinist
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
