Summary
Job Title: Hub Lead Driver
Shifts: 4 On 4 Off - 0600-1815 per working day minimum
Pay: £31992 per annum
This is a newly developed position created to and oversee shift for the day to day operations of the cinch brand on a local level, within large, national automotive group BCA. cinch is a fresh kind of service that makes life easier for motorists.
You will play an essential role within the Hub to support function, helping to oversee the entire day to day operations delivering the cinch vehicles on your shift. As the Hub Shift Lead you will be the first point of call for the coordinators and planners, working with the Operations Team Leaders to ensure that shift runs to plan and that we exceed company KPI measures. Alongside your role as a Vehicle Handover Specialist, you will also feedback to the Operations Team Leaders on hub concerns, report any changes of plan, oversee the stock management onsite and react to daily issues. You will report sickness and absence using the appropriate channels.
You will be supported by your Team Leaders who oversee the coordinators, planners and Vehicle Handover Specialists to ensure the whole team is operating efficiently. First and foremost, you will continue to carry out your duties as a Vehicle Handover Specialist to the best of your ability. As a Vehicle Handover Specialist, you are responsible for carrying out the vehicle delivery directly to the customer and ensuring that every aspect of the customers’ journey is smooth, professional and reflects the excitement and gravitas that purchasing a new vehicle brings them.
In this role, candidates should expect to:
· Demonstrate leadership whilst overseeing the daily operations of the hub shift team
· Work as a key member of the team and build effective working relationships with colleagues
· Develop excellent working relationships with the Head Office teams and create a consistent line of clear effective communication in a feedback loop
· Ensure that all new starters receive an positive welcome and hub induction
· Take accountability to understand company policies and procedures
· Work alongside the Cinch Driver Trainers to implement and update training
· Ensure the entire team is appropriately resourced
· To ensure the operation is being cost effective, ensuring initiatives are being implemented to minimise cost and maximise service performance
· To ensure that the accuracy, quality of work and communication to customers both internal/external is of a consistently high standard
· Support the planning department in day to day duties
· Attend meetings with BCAL (BCA Logistics) and the cinch team
· Ensure processes and polices are being followed at all times Key Competencies and Experience
