Summary
Cleaner required for Part time work in Folkestone
Local cleaners required to work in residential households in Folkestone (and other areas) carrying out general cleaning and other domestic duties. This is part-time up to a maximum of 16 hours a week, and often carried out while the homeowner is out of the house. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner wants. But they can include any of the following and some more:
- dusting and polishing furniture
- cleaning windows
- vacuuming floors
- mopping floor tiles
- ironing clothing
- washing up pots and pans
For the position, you need:
- To enjoy undertaking practical tasks.
- To be dependable and hard-working.
- Have knowledge of using household cleaning equipment and materials.
- The ability to work without being supervised.
- To pay attention to detail.
- To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if necessary. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off blitz clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials shall be supplied by the client. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
