Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Hospitality Manager to join the fantastic team at the Robert Gordon University, AB10 7GJ. This is an exciting, permanent and full time opportunity reporting into our General Manager on site and will assume responsibility for the smooth running of internal and external events and associated hospitality at the University.Robert Gordon University provides industry led undergraduate and postgraduate courses leading to highly relevant awards and degrees. Situated on one of the most beautiful campuses in the UK, the Rovert Gordon University is truly an amazing place to be a part of.

A day in the life of a Hospitality Manager:
- To help organise and plan events and co-ordinate hospitality services to deliver effectively
- To actively promote all facilities through a range of marketing activities to customers
- To manage stock and be responsible for placing orders
- Managing a small hospitality team, ensuring training is up to date and creating rotas
- To build and develop relationships with internal colleagues in order to gain an understanding of Conference, Hospitality and Events needs and opportunities
- To carry out accurate administrative duties associated with Conference, Hospitality and Events to include responding promptly to all enquiries, the preparation and issue of quotations, confirmation letters, contracts, Terms & Conditions, invoicing and post event follow up
- To confidently “up” and “cross” sell to customers prior to sale closure to ensure maximization of opportunities within the venue to add value
- To work as a team and to contribute to menu concepts and development
You'll be set up for success if you have:
- A background in a conference/events environment
- Experience managing a team and running high volume
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
- A strong team player who has a can do attitude
