Summary
We’re looking for an innovative individual to join our high performing leisure service to help transform and modernise our operations further.
The Gedling team is pushing forward business change at its leisure centres. Membership and customer usage levels are the highest in the service’s history, yet our vision continues to be getting more residents active, addressing health inequalities across our communities. We’re now ready to accelerate to even greater heights and explore the development of new facilities, driving the service to another level.
If you’re a skilled Programme Manager with experience of transformation programmes in the leisure, cultural or community sector and are committed to making a lasting difference, we have a dynamic and innovative Communities, Leisure and Wellbeing team that wants to work with you!
For an informal chat to find out more about the role please contact Lance Juby, Assistant Director of Communities, Leisure and Wellbeing on 0115 9013708 or via email at lance.juby@gedling.gov.uk.
We can offer you excellent working conditions, including a generous holiday entitlement, a comprehensive pension scheme and access to an Employee Assistance Programme, providing advice on a range of issues including financial and legal matters, and offering discounts on purchases from numerous retail outlets. Employees can access a discounted health and fitness membership at Gedling’s Leisure Centres, just £5 per month, and we even offer an extra day’s leave for any local based volunteering you participate in! The Council offices are situated in an award-winning park within easy reach of Nottingham City Centre and rural Nottinghamshire and include free on-site car parking.
This post is hybrid, with an expectation of some on-site working most weeks. The post is based in Arnold, Nottingham at Gedling Borough Council's Civic Centre.
