CBW are seeking for a highly motivated and detail oriented Assistant Facilities Manager to join a fantastic FM contractor in East London!
The successful candidate will assistant the Facilities manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the safety and functionality of our facilities and managing a team of maintenance personnel
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Planning, Coordinating and Supervising of all maintenance and repair activities to ensure the facilities smooth run operation. This includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing HVAC, and general building systems
- Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance staff, including training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
- Attend and actively participate in operational meetings, maintaining effective communication with the broader team.
- Promote and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to foster a safe working environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Oversee suppliers for designated areas, such as plant services and coffee machine vendors.
- Encourage a collaborative "one team" culture by sharing best practices and attending regular team meetings.
- Support customer and business needs as required.
Knowledge and Skills;
- Relevant certification in facilities management
- Essential experience in customer service.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
