Join our HR Service Centre team for the opportunity to make a positive contribution to Cardiff University's mission to deliver a better world for future generations!

The HR Service Centre is the University's central transactional hub that ensures that all recruitment, contractual and Payroll processes are undertaken to support the front-line delivery of world class teaching and research.

With excellent administrative skills and experience of working in a fast-paced office environment, you will be the first point of contact for our customers on the telephone or electronically. Delivering a professional response to ensure a right first time resolution, you will assess and appropriately allocate work requests within the immediate and wider team. Volume is always high within the Centre, so the ability to plan, prioritise and organise your own workload to meet a variety of deadlines is essential to helping us deliver a high quality service, valued by our customers.

We welcome applications from candidates who are fluent in the Welsh language, both spoken and written.

This is a full time post of 35 hours per week, fixed term until 31 July 2025.

This role is eligible to be offered on a blended working basis, meaning that as well as spending time working on campus you can also choose to spend some time working from another location, e.g. your home. The University is committed to offering this flexibility, wherever the role and business need allows, supporting work-life balance.

Salary: £22,728 - £23,114 per annum (Grade 2)
