Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team at the European Policies Research Centre (EPRC) based in Glasgow. This administrative role would involve providing support for the EPRC Centre Manager and Events Coordinator with a range of standard clerical, administrative and PA tasks supporting EPRC’s international research activities across 30 European countries.

The post will also assist in managing administration responsibilities for EPRC’s base at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands.

We are looking for someone who works reliably, accurately and to deadlines. You must be willing and flexible in your attitude to your responsibilities/duties, quick to learn new skills and able to take initiative. You must also have the interpersonal skills to work in a busy, team-based environment and provide a courteous and effective support service to other EPRC staff, as well as the confidence to communicate with the University’s Professional Service and external stakeholders.

Applicants are required to complete an application form including the name of two referees who will be contacted without further permission, unless you indicate that you would prefer otherwise. Applicants should also submit a Curriculum Vitae and
a covering letter detailing the knowledge, skills and experience you think make you the right candidate for the job. Applicants should also complete the Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form.
